Sharon Yvonne Stone was born on March 10, 1958, in Meadville, Pennsylvania, to accountant Dorothy Lawson and tool and die maker also a former worker at a factory Joseph William Stone II. Michael, Kelly, Patrick and Dorothy Lawson are her 3 siblings. Stone was considered academically gifted when she was a kid and started the second grade when she was five. She was a graduate of Saegertown High School in Saegertown, Pennsylvania, in 1975. She was crowned Miss Crawford County, she took part in her first Miss Pennsylvania Beauty Pageant. Stone was able to move to New Jersey with her aunt New Jersey, where she pursued a career in modeling. A month later, Stone signed up at the Ford Modeling Agency. Stone soon moved to Europe for a time, and lived with her aunt in Milan in Italy and Paris. Stone unhappy with the model world within Europe began acting as she lived in Europe. In her 20s, she starred in the film of Woody Allen "Stardust Memories" that received mixed praises.
